Although we are new to the United States, we have been serving the aircraft and automotive industry in Japan since 1937. Our market leadership in Japan attests to the quality of the aluminum automotive parts we manufacture.As part of the global drive to conserve fuel, reducing the weight of automobiles has become a vital concern of automobile makers worldwide. Aluminum parts forged by KAAP are light weight. Operating Technician

The ideal candidate will be self-driven individual with a passion for working in a team environment and excellence in Safety, Quality, and Production. Operating Technician will be cross-trained in all aspects of their respective department which facilitates our Pay-for-Performance compensation program.


  • Operating machinery
  • Simple to moderate troubleshooting
  • Inspection of parts/Quality checks
  • General housekeeping/5s of work area
  • Maintaining great attendance
  • Follow safety rules and regulations

Basic Requirements/Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED equivalency.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be willing to work rotating (4 Star) 12-hour shifts (willing to work every other weekend and some holidays). Shifts are either 5:00 AM to 5:10 PM or 5:00 PM to 5:10 PM. New Operating Technicians will most likely start on night shift.
  • Able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods, to include but not limited to: lifting, walking, standing, stooping, pulling, and pushing.
  • Willing to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations; including wearing personal protective equipment.
  • Must work safely.
  • Willing to work in hot/humid, cold, noisy industrial environment.
  • Willing to work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.
  • Able to use a computer for basic reporting and documentation.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.
  • Able to accurately use basic math.

Compensation: $14.50 an hour to start with an increase potential after the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.
