Purpose:
Assists in general ledger maintenance, preparation of accounting statements and financial reports; maintains record of business transactions and records;
General Duties:
- Requires physical activity throughout shift(except breaks and lunch) such as long periods of sitting; substantial walking and standing, reaching, handling, near/far vision, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
- Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
- Maintain or examine the records of government agencies.
- Advise clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans.
- Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.
- Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
- Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Code, post and receipt payments
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
- Track and reconcile Petty Cash
- Managerial accounting activities – assist accounting expatriate in analysis.
- Cash forecasting – Cash receipt.

Requirements:
- Four year degree in accounting
